Fast Growth Business of the Year: what our growth means for you
On Thursday 15th October, Nuvo won the Fast Growth category at the East Midlands Business of the Year Awards 2026, run by The Business Desk. It’s a proud moment for everyone at Nuvo. But the award is only half the story. The other half is what that growth means for the businesses we work with.
A year of growth
In November 2025, Nuvo had 170 people in 16 offices, with a turnover of £16m. Today, we’re over 500 people across 26 offices, and turnover has reached £43m.
That’s close to a three fold increase in under a year. 17 firms have joined Nuvo in that time, each bringing experienced people and long-standing client relationships. Growth from our existing business has picked up too, with organic growth rising from 7.5% to 11.1%.
Growing without losing what matters
Growing quickly is one thing. Growing well is another.
Alongside the Fast Growth win, Nuvo was shortlisted for Employer of the Year. That follows our recent win in the same category at the Accountancy Excellence awards. We’ve run a four-day working week since 2022, and we’re aiming to reach our 2030 growth target while keeping both employee and client NPS above 50.
Why does that matter to you? Because the people looking after your business are the reason you stay with us. Happy, settled teams give better advice.
What this means for your business
Many of our clients first came to us for their accounts. That’s still at the heart of what we do. But as Nuvo has grown, so has what we can offer you.
Today, you can get all of this from one team:
- Accountancy: accounts and bookkeeping that keep you on top of your numbers.
- Tax: planning ahead for your business and personal tax, not just filing it.
- Audit: independent audits when you need them.
- Advisory: support with your growth plans, funding and big decisions.
- Payroll: paying your team accurately and on time.
- HR: contracts, policies and people advice as your team grows.
- Hiring: finding the right people for the roles that matter.
- Company secretarial: keeping your Companies House records in order.
- Legal: legal support for your business.
As your business grows, these needs tend to arrive one after another. A first employee brings payroll. A bigger team brings HR and hiring. A new investor or a sale brings advisory and legal work. Now you don’t need to find a new firm each time.
One team that already knows you
The real benefit isn’t the list of services. It’s that the people helping you already understand your business.
Your Nuvo contact knows your numbers, your plans and how you like to work. When you need something new, they’ll introduce you to the right specialist, and everyone works from the same picture. That means fewer handovers, less repeating yourself and advice that joins up.
What’s next
We’re not slowing down. More firms will join Nuvo, and with them more expertise for you to draw on. Our focus stays the same: grow the business by building great teams who look after you well.
