Rachel is an Associate Partner of NUVO with a strong background in accountancy. Despite starting her career in a bank, Rachel made a career change in 2003 at the age of 30 and completed a fast-track AAT course at New College Nottingham. She later went on to complete her Chartered Accountancy qualification in 2009.
Rachel is driven by the satisfaction of taking "boring figures" and making them presentable to help clients meet their taxation and statutory obligations. Her responsibilities at NUVO primarily involve reviewing and offering assistance, training, and advice to her colleagues, as well as meeting with clients and liaising with them over the phone.
One of Rachel's most significant accomplishments is achieving her Chartered Accountancy qualification "late in the game." Despite juggling her studies with running a household and working full time, Rachel persevered and achieved her goal.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys running and is training for a marathon. She is also a 2nd Degree black belt in Taekwondo. She enjoys reading and is a huge Harry Potter fan. She is happily married to her husband Gary, and the proud owner of their dog, Diego.
