Chelsey is a seasoned Operations Director at NUVO, with over a decade of experience in the field of accountancy. Her career began in 2006 when she secured an apprenticeship and started studying towards her AAT qualification. She progressed within her role in practice by further going on to complete both her ATT qualification and her ACCA qualification. She has been a fellow member of the ACCA since 2021.
Chelsey's passion for helping and advising owner-managed businesses across various industry sectors has been the driving force throughout her career. Her expertise lies in general compliance, including accounts, tax, VAT, and bookkeeping. She takes pride in working closely with clients, delivering services in a friendly, proactive, and plain language manner to help business owners make reliable business decisions. Her client-centric approach has earned her a reputation for being personable and supportive.
Chelsey's early interest in business and accounts led her to the industry, and she finds it rewarding to be part of her clients' businesses, providing day-to-day support and helping them grow and succeed.
Chelsey joined NUVO in 2015 and has held various positions, including Manager and Associate Partner. As an Operations Director, Chelsey oversees the day-to-day running of NUVO and manages a portfolio of clients across the Burton and Derby offices. Her expertise and leadership have made her an invaluable asset to the company.
