From May 2025, Acumen Accountants and Advisors Limited will officially become Nuvo Scotland Limited.
Over the last year, we’ve proudly become part of the Nuvo group, a growing national network of people-first accounting firms. Now, we’re aligning our name and brand to reflect that connection. We’re still your local Aberdeen team, but with a wider support network behind us.

Who We Are
Nuvo Scotland is one of Scotland’s longest-standing accountancy practices, with roots in Aberdeen and clients across the UK. We support small businesses, limited companies, and high-growth firms with everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to strategic tax advice.
Together, our team combines decades of practical knowledge with a future-facing approach to client care, technology, and compliance.
A Note for Audit Clients
As communicated previously, all audit work is now conducted under Nuvo Audit Limited, led by the same familiar faces. Alison Brown continues as your Responsible Individual (RI), and your service continues without interruption.
Trialling a 4-Day Week
Starting 2nd June 2025, we’ll be trialling a 4-day work week for three months at all our Offices (Aberdeen, Inverurie and Surrey):

Office hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Fridays: Office closed (urgent voicemails will reach directors)
We’re excited about this initiative to support staff wellbeing while maintaining excellent service. If successful, we plan to adopt this schedule permanently.
