Nuvo is 20! A Message From the Board

We are delighted to reach this significant milestone on our journey as a firm. From a two-partner start up operating from our bedrooms in 2004, to a four-office practice with a fantastic team of over 100, it is a joy to look back on this company's history, the ups and the downs. From technological revolutions, to a global pandemic. From recessions to Brexit, Nuvo has remained resilient, and committed to its objective to assist its valued clients to survive and thrive.

We wanted to take this opportunity to revisit the last 20 years of accounting, and the last 20 years of Nuvo.

20 Years of Progression

When Nuvo first formed (as ADS Accountancy), accountancy was manual, "Cloud Accounting" wasn't a phrase and Sage Desktop was revolutionary. From shoeboxes of receipts to AI-driven data processing, from paper tax returns to Making Tax Digital, the industry has seen drastic changes over the last 20 years, and as a firm we have remained at the forefront of this digital revolution. Strong partnerships with the main cloud accounting providers, and a progressive team allows Nuvo to continually adapt in this modern world of accounting and deliver effective services to our clients.

Investing In Our People

Desktop computers aren't particularly conducive to working from home, and 9-5 wasn't just a Dolly Parton song. As times have changed though, so have we. We have invested in our team, with a 4 day working week, flexible working hours and a "work where you want" approach, Nuvo remains committed to being the best possible employer.
